Is it me or have the price of the lenses for the Contax G system creeped up? I assume this is because you can use the lenses with an adapter on the micro 4/3 system.

Prices have increased here. But, I'm not sure it's the 4/3 crowd that did it as G2 bodies have gone up too.

I got an EX condition 45mm f/2 on KEH for $300 about three months ago, now the BGN ones are going for $500 and the EX is something like $650. Weird, huh?

Four years ago they were selling for nothing, $200 for the 45mm lens. Sold my 21mm for $550, they are through the roof right now.

Hmm... maybe time to dig in the back of my closet and pack up my G2 stuff to sell. Problem is whenever I do that I go "wow, what a nice camera", load up a roll, and decide not to sell it after all...

Indeed the lenses went up in price. Mostly the ones that are mountable on 4/3 Micro adapters, like 35, 45, 90, so methinks it's connected. Here's the price comparison: first price (in brackets) is ebay's from 2 years ago. The second one is present, also from ebay: 21/2.8 - ($600), $700. 28/2.8 - ($200), $270. $35/2 - ($150), $275, 45/2 - ($150), $300, 90/2.8 - ($130), $230. G2 body - ($400), $500. G1, though, went down in price: G1 - ($200), $160. I won't even mention KEH prices, which are purely speculative.
