Hi Guys,
I'm a long time lurker but this is my fist post on here so be gentle.
I have a G1 which I think is utterly fabulous, but I fancy messing about with a digital SLR, mainly so I can experiment with quick results and without paying to have film developed.
My question is - are there any lens adaptors available that would enable me to use the brilliant Contax G lenses on a digital camera? (any make - I'm not too fussed).
Many thanks,
Bob.

not on SLRs, a japanese company converts G mount to M mount and you could use them on a Leica M8 or Epson R-D1.
Two problems, the conversion is very expensive and as I've read here somewhere they offer their services only to locals, you have to be there in person.

Thanks for the reply Socke
I see. I certainly wouldn't want to covert my lenses. I was hoping there would be some kind of adapter.
Nevermind I may just opt for a Pentax SLR to play with, I've a few Pentax K mount lenses, plus I know I can get a pentax to Zenith adapter so I can use my M mounts too (just a pity they're just not in the same class as the contax).
Thanks again,
Bob.
