Desperate but not serious
It's not so much a kit, but you send them unconverted lens, they do the conversion and send it back to you or youc an buy an already converted lesn from them.

Please consider buying a G body for peanuts.......if yours is dead or do not have . Then you have the AF which is pretty decent.

Hawks factory sells a kit helicoid on Ebay, it's... pricey

My M5s need red dots!
I second the suggestion about the Contax G body. If you already have the lens, a G1 will only cost you about $150 (gotta look hard for them, but they exist) or some $300, and you'll have a lot more fun.

get it converted from hawks
i have a 21mm converted and it almost looks like it came from the factory with an M-Mount. Focus ring turns the correct directions as well..

Hawk's conversion is the best. He finally got it perfected, after taking over 2.5 years to convert some of mine...hope his turn around is faster now.

I don't like battery dependent cameras. I do like seeing what's outside the framelines when I compose. I prefer rangefinder focusing. So I prefer my M cameras, but I love some of the Zeiss G lenses. I see lens modification as a viable option.

I think with the new Hawks kit you do the conversion yourself. He just sells you the required parts. Not sure how easy it is to do.
I bought an M converted 45/2 that has a Fotodiox helicoid on it. Not sure if those are still available, but I think there's another guy on eBay somewhere in the US offering this type of conversion. Quality of the conversion is passable (at least my copy). Focus is really light/loose and in the Contax/Nikon direction = backwards way for Leica M.
