I paid at RFF $650 for a green label G1+28+45+90. All in very nice condition.
Raid, at that price, they gave you the camera.
I have a G1, two G2's and the same lenses, but am pretty slow in the selling department. For film -- great travel cameras, I kept B&W in one and Color Print in the other, took them to Iceland-- very fast, good size, and the glass happens to match what I want, or I have good taste and it is excellent, either way, it's OK.
I also provided a set up for a friend, who now wants a Bessa?
I often used only the 28 and 90, and with the size you can carry two bodies and switch between them.
They really should make something digital in the same body with the same glass.

I think you can get a 90mm for about $125 locally if you bide your time and be patient. I just sold a whole G2 kit (well, traded) it against an M6 and Summilux 50, I let my only 90 go in that deal simply because I know they'll pop up again for cheap.
Such a good lens though, don't blame you for wanting it. Don't pay more than $150 though.

These lenses are going up in price as people are using them on NEX and micro 4/3 cameras...they are difficult to find at cheap prices anymore. B&H used to have loads of the 90mm for $100, all essentially mint lenses.

I agree with you, John.
I may want to get another G1 or G2 body as back-up for travel.
I am thinking of my cairo trip next year.

The 90mm Sonnar is an awesome lens for portraits. Each image comes out beautiful and sharp. The rendition is wonderful. It is much easier to use than a 75mm/1.4 Lux.

I'm probably projecting a bit, after shooting with that 90 for about 6 years I wouldn't want to throw it on a digital that makes it into a 180mm lens.
I guess this guy didn't feel it either...

I have no connection to the seller, just cl'd for 90's after reading this thread again.

Did you ask what he'd sell the lens on it's own for?
The KEH price is okay but you'll get nailed on shipping and duty.

Anybody charging more than $25 for shipping the 1 lb package to Canada is overcharging. Do you have to pay custom duty for a used photo stuff coming from the States?

It's been hit and miss for me - I've paid $80 duty on a $200 camera (from here on RFF), $100 duty on a $900 camera (from here as well). I've also ordered an entire box of used Bronica equipment for a friend and been charged no duty whatsoever.
I'm not sure if the charges are somewhat arbitrary, but they seem to be.

in theory anything coming over 50$ value is charged. even if it is marked as gift...if they send by UPS-standard then you may get no charge...

There are several G1 bodies on ebay for reasonable prices.
I may get a G2 instead. We'll see.

KEH is crazy regarding shipping...
The guy in toronto craiglist asked 280$ for 90mm...I think it is still little high. What do you say?
KEH has for 150$ + 50$ shipping= still cheaper than this..but there might be customs...

I think the lens is "worth" $280, it's a beautiful lens to shoot with. I wouldn't personally pay $280 for it though, and I doubt anyone else will either.

You got to be careful with KEH. What's the condition? LN, EX, UG(ly)? That lens on ebay in mint condition sells in auction listing for $170-220 US. You can ask the seller to ship it First Class if that takes care of customs.KEH is crazy regarding shipping...
