Just musing .
I have just seen a Kiev III of 1951 with Zeiss glass lens for £420 .
Now you could view this as an opportunity to buy a newer Kontax Klone at a reasonable cost [ not ] , but a really good Contax II can be bought for that money ... not to mention a useable Kiev III which is even younger .
Ok , this is the 1st [ ? ] year of the Kiev III , and few were made , so it's a collector thing .
Curious , in a way , that a copy created in such strained and strange circumstances should gain '' value '' which eclipses the genuine article .
Or , maybe it is this very reason .
