I recently aquired a used Contax T camera. After putting one roll through it began acting up...There seems to be a problem with the top piece of the camera and getting power to operate the meter and shutter. The top piece of the body is very loose and wobbly even after tightening up the screws I could find on the outside of the body. I don't think it is a dead battery as the meter intermittently lights up and operates the shutter if one puts pressure on the top and wiggles it gently. The frame counter also does not show the frame number unless you apply pressure as described above.

Anyone else had this problem (and if so, any suggestions for a fix)? Alternately, can anyone recommend a reputable repair service (I'm in northern California but willing to ship domestically).

I've never had any problems with my T in the year I've had it.. it sounds like it might be something you can fix yourself if you're willing to open it up.. here's a place you can get a repair manual

there is only one place I'm aware of that repairs Contax T's...
