Contax T rangefinder repair

I have a pretty decent condition black contax t. I have hardly even ran a roll of film through it but plan on starting to use it some more. It has one problem- the glass on the front (lens side) of the viewfinder has come lose. I would imagine I could just kind of glue it back in place but assume that this would possibly misalign the rangefinder. Any thoughts on a good way to fix this?

Hi, Mexipike. I think the best thing to do is lift the top. Unscrew the 3 screws you can see and carefully lift the top. Take note of the position of the ST-button. as it tends to drop. The glass on the front is not connected to the rangefinder: it can be glued back to the top you just lifted.
