Contax T3 features compared to the others

Hi!

I am writing up a little article about the Contax T3, which I have used regulary and heavily for years. So I know about that one, and the Minilux.
Now - which other P&S are there that share functions such as EV comp., film leader in/out choice, filter treat (quite a big deal for B/W), 1/1200 min. shutter speed, etc.? I guess the main competitor is the Nikon 35 Ti, which lacks the filter treat, but does it have similar functions otherwise?

Don't forget the fixed focus settings with the T3 which you can override with a press on the AEL button if AF is needed in between, also that all settings (incl. flash) can be saved, just for Erik Kim who can't read manuals 😉

Check Hamish's webite https://www.35mmc.com/, he tested nearly all high end compacts quite intensively, his T3 review is also really comprehensive.

Hi Juergen!
Thank you - well, I do know the T3 inside and out, I have used it for years in the mountains to 7000m and published images with it in Alpinist magazine. I was more wondering how the others stack up - the T3 is so rich in features that actually all make sense. It has become a kult kamera with ridiculous prices, though it is really in many way a real photographer´s camera....
