Contax T3 Repair in Hong Kong

Greetings Rff! I hope everything is well. I would like to ask if you know a service center in Hong Kong that accepts repairs for a Contax T3 camera? I checked Kyocera's website and found out that they have an authorized service center in HK that accepts repairs for Contax/Yashica film cameras. Anybody here based in Hong Kong would could confirm?

Nippon Camera in New York City will work on T3s, as well as Kyocera Japan. You probably know that already. Again, good luck!

Yes I know them all because of you. 😉 I'm sending it to Kyocera Japan but I'll be traveling in Hong Kong some time January next year so I'm thinking if their might be an authorized repair center that could do the work than sending the camera through mail which I am not comfortable of doing. But well if I've got no choice then I have to do it. I'll be purchasing another Contax T3 soon and use it as a backup. I'm really happy with the performance that of this little camera. The lens gives images that are really stunning that you wouldn't think that it was produced by a point and shoot camera.

Yes David I will. Oh man. I really miss using my Contax. Now i'm working with my projects using a Ricoh Gr1s. I don't want to use my slr because. . .you know the reason why. 😉

A timely post, as I've just sent mine to 'metro camera clinic' in NYC yesterday.
If you fail to find a local service center in HK, I'll post my experience with metro upon the return of my camera.

Nice to know. Enjoy and bring us some photos to look at when you get back home. I'm still working with my book project, I underestimated the challenge and never thought that it was this hard. Well challenges makes a boy become a man as they say so I'm up for it. 😎
