Hello Gene

I have come to understand that one is supposed to contribute something to this forum - post messages, pictures etc. Since I have nothing intelligent to say, at least for the time being, I posted a picture.

My gallery is "full" - 20 images at any one time is enough, don't you say?

It somewhat defeats the purpose of the Gallery. If you need to break up the tech talk, just click on Gallery and visit there for awhile -- many of us switch back and forth during an RFF session. There are new photos posted daily and there's some excellent work there, as well as commentary. Posting in the Gallery *is* making a contribution. Commenting in the Gallery also adds to your overall post count.

Thanks Gene, understood. I agree about the work in the galleries. It is quite good.

But I wouldn't mind a Words/NoWords place to post. It's a way of communicating on a topic using pics and as few words as possible. That's different from a gallery posting where you post a picture and people comment via text on some aspect of the picture.

Agreed. You could maybe even make it theme based, so everyone follows the theme of the 1st image posted on a given day.

I always liked the W/NW Threads. They don't happen too often here, but there are two threads I haven't been able to read well and go in the spirit of W/NW: both were started by Frank S, the Face to a Name and the Significant Other.

As for contribution... How about this Backlit Tree iin DeKalb (M6TTL, Hexanon 35/2, T-Max turned into slide by dp5.com last year)?
