Hi, sorry if this has already been dealt with, but I can't figure out the best way to convert ERFs to DNGs using batch processing.
any hints gratefully recieved.
PS tried 'batch' in PS, but it keeps prompting me before saving

Regarding your batch file problem, is the Override Action "Open" Commands box checked? And when you created the batch script did you save a file before stopping the script?

Yeah, I did that, using the save in ACR with the dng option. I'll have to read the instructions! But I guess this is possible, right? Do others here batch convert to dng? I'm getting a bit twitchy about the ERF format disappearing. Tell me I'm paranoidbrucek said:Regarding your batch file problem, is the Override Action "Open" Commands box checked? Can't you just download Adobe DNG converter from the Adobe website?
It's a great standalone batch processor, I use either that or Bridge/ACR..

Clive is right. The free Adobe DNG converter does the batching easily without hassle.
I Convert ALL my RAWS from several cameras to DNG and them delete the original RAW. This results in a condiderable space saving on your hard drive and the 'new' RAW is archived after creating tifs or jpegs to work with. It's a no brainer.
Give it a go, you'll be amazed at the easy workflow.
