I tried to take some pics with my old screw mount Elmar 50 2.8 (nr.153xxxx) with my m8 and i got really disappointed 
, it seems this lens loses infinity focus by adding an adapter to it on m8, I tried and older Hector 50 2.5 nickel (180xxx) and it was fine the infinity focused perfectly, WHY??? they are both 50mm right?

It should work. But remember there are some grotty adapters out there. Use the ones Cameraquest sells....
