Is a converter needed to mount a 4/3rds lens on a micro-4/3rds body? If so, could someone point me to one.
Thanks,

Yes there is, Panasonic has one out that converts 4/3 to micro 4/3, many people on flickr use those on their G1's I have seen. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicdmcg1/ <====== you can see it here.
The Panasonic DMW-MA1 or the Jinfinance 4/3 adapter.

The Panasonic adapter allows all your information to be saved on the EXIF, but will not allow AF unless you are using one of the Firmware updated (for contrast AF) 4/3 lenses. It will also allow for zoom MF if you want, where moving the focus ring on your 4/3 lens can automatically be set to zoom in and allow critical focus (like for macro work). The Jinfinance adapter works like any other non-electrical mount, you just use MF and the zoom function is a couple of button clicks.

Is there a list of firmware adapted 4/3rds lenses anywhere?
