I've got a very interesting RF camera. It's a Mogran 96 Compact EE. I’ve inherited that camera from my grandfather and it has got even an original camera box where stays a small text:

Korea Phonghwa Trading Corporation
Pyongyang D.P.R of Korea

At beginning I can’t find any information on the web about that camera or camera producer. After some online investigation I’ve found that it’s a same camera as Cosina Compact 35E or Argus Cosina 35. The Cosina Company has probably exported their cameras in North Korea and branded them as Mogran cameras.

It’s a very nice and capable little piece of equipment. It is totally automatic (but with exposure lock possibility) with a nice, sharp, contrasty, multicoated lens (Cosinon 38/2.7).

I’ve taken lots of very nice photos with that camera (look at my rff gallery) but also got a little problem. There is a small screw on the top of the camera, beside the hot-shoe, to adjust a horizontal alignment of the viewfinder. When I adjust the viewfinder correctly to infinity it is pretty much off at the close distances. I’ve looked beneath the top plate of the camera carefully and I haven’t found any second screw to adjust the viewfinder at the close distances (e.g. like in my Zorki). Does anybody know a solution?

Regards
Vjeko
