Could someone help with an error code 20 please?

Just got this thing off ebay.

The very first time I pressed the shutter - the shutter did not fully fire and it flashed a code 20 at me and refused to work.

I removed the batteries, waited for the LCD to go off, then reloaded - and now it works (apparently). I'm on the third film now without incident.

Is this something I should worry about? Googling shows that code 20 is something to do with the shutter. Maybe it was just stuck after not having been used for ages and is now ok?

If anyone has a helpful suggestion, that would be gratefully received.

TIA

Not with a Hexar RF but with another camera I had a shutter hang due to being unused for a long time. I would suggest you keep using the camera - the more use it gets the less likely for the shutter to stick.

On the other hand, if it really IS a faulty shutter you want to prove this ASAP to get a refund. So use it frequently!

With no viable repair service, any Hexar user needs to be mentally prepared for the camera to brick itself but maintain a state of Zen relaxation anyway.

Good luck.
