I don't want to limit my photography by using only one lens.
There is joy in switching lenses around for different perspectives.
In my last trip, I went from 25mm to 35mm and back to 25mm.
In other occasions, I alternate between 50mm and 21mm and 75mm.

I went from a 50 to 35 to a 50 again. I guess the normal FOV is my main weapon of choice

No, but I'd be happy with a 35 and a 50.

The best camera is one that still works!
I would have answered 'no' most likely a few months ago but may have said 'yes' to the same question about a 50mm lens.
Then my X100 came along and suddenly I had a camera that I really wanted to use a lot but it only had a 35mm lens. I have indeed used it a lot and guess what ... suddenly a 50mm seems very tight for general shooting!
A couple of months of being predominantly hooked into the 35mm focal length and I think I may be converted!

Truth is beauty
I'd not seen it before, it is excellent. Noticed on his website, he's been given an X100. We'll see the results at the end of 2011

Driftless: Photographs from Iowa by Danny Wilcox Frazier. I own the book. All the stills are shot with a Leica and 35mm lens. The photographer won an award selected by Robert Frank
The videos are good if you have the time.

Yes to one lens, but it would have to be a 50.
I agree with the 35/75 people. Great pair.
