courtain tension problem on zorki-4k??

Hi all!!!
i have a recent come Zorki-4K, i had time to made a few shots without the back an i saw that the second courtain sometimes stucks and don´t close well.
sometimes it closes fine.
do you know why???

I have a 4 that does the same, I think a good clean and lube may sort it out without having to increase the curtain tension (which would probably be a bad idea). Once everything is clean and free-running, curtain tension can often be decreased

CLA instructions are in one of the sticky threads above on this section of the forum, I will be following these in the next week or so. If you're reasonably handy and patient it should be straightforward job to DIY.

Sometimes that can be down to lack of tension on the second blind. However, it's far more likely to be a sign that it needs a CLA. See the sticky at the top of the FSU sub-forum. It's not that bad if you are reasonably handy with a screwdriver.

Actually it doesn't take all that long. Make sure you have all the tools shown. If you get stuck at some point, put it aside and just post a question on here.

Hi Oscar!
I´m having the same problem with my Z4.
She´s still waiting for some free time to get hands on and perform a CLA which will solve the problem.
Do not play with curtains tension before cleaning and relubing. This may produce unwanted results: one or both of the ribbons may get loose from the receiving drum (it happens very often with the Zeniths which share basically the same shutter design).
