Leica LTM Covid Ebay Prices

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
This is very encouraging. Thanks for all the examples showing things aren’t all that bad. It is good to hear as someone fairly heavily invested in my lovely screw mounts. I should say heavily invested based on my moderate income. I am sure there are those that would laugh at my “significant investment” :)

I love my kit and have shot with it a lot. All very nice cameras, lenses and accessories that all together still cost less than one new modern Summicron.

It's a nice way to enjoy Leica quality and find a different look, while still being quite capable with modern film. I can't imagine shooting them at ISO 12 handheld or tripod.

!!! Absolutely right!

I sell on ebay, mainly odds and ends I've ended up with and normally they move very slowly using BIN.

In the last weeks and months, I've been selling anything and everything I put online! Often immediately! Old grotty filters, esoteric lens hoods, random straps, whatever! Buy buy buy!!!

I don't think the economic downturn has truly kicked in yet, at least not on ebay here. I imagine people might be sitting at home 'problem solving' using online retail?

There are plenty of bored people stuck at home and a lot of people still have jobs and cash.

Picked up a Zeiss Planar 35mm f3.5 for 276. I was expecting to pay closer to 500, but maybe that’s all it’s worth. Hope it’s in good shape.

I picked up the tripods I've posted about, and most recently a black Minolta XD-7 and some old agfa paper for very good prices. I was patient and lucky with these things, overall, prices for old photo stuff have only gone down very little.
I think the people who now are in economic trouble are offset by those who have more time on their hands, and maybe some value creative outlets, which help keep us sane, more.
Bad economy can also drive prices for used things up because people think twice if they really must buy new. Not so much a problem with most film cameras but might apply to lenses.
