Come on... Are you serious?
The 0.95 Version is fantastic. Yes it's expensive but it's a great lens.
Of course he's serious. Never let anyone else's prejudices stand in the way of your own, and avoid the facts whenever possible. Who needs facts, rationality or experience, after all?

Buy a holga lens from holgamods.com and adapt it to a Leica body cap - shoot away. Put cinefoil around a toilet paper insert and mount a magnifying glass on the front and a leica body cap on the back and shoot away [beware of smoke]. Get a FSU lens, let toddlers play with it in a sandbox, wash in woolite [on gentle cycle], dry in sun for a few days and then shoot away. Drill a 1/64 inch hole in a leica body cap, mount and shoot away [bracket 30 sec, 1 min., 2 min, 4 min. etc]. Or just buy a holga/Diana and impress friend and foe alike with the Holga/Leica combo around your neck.

This reminded me of the following from an arbitration clause (believed to be of trans-atlantic origin):

I don't know German, but I do know that Schott is/was a very well-known maker of glass, so it seemed like a reasonable gamble. I got it for cheap and soon sold it the same way.

Wow! Thanks! Was that for computer hardware, computer software, or publishing? Those HAVE to be the three leading contenders...
(Hard to read the blue against white, though).

Buy a 50mm Meniscus lens ...
also known as a +20 closeup lens, occasionally seen sold as a super powerful closeup lens or "macro attachment".
