Crash or Soft Landing, here I am!

Joe, the "dead sheep" is a UK vernacular expression, arising from a comment made in a political speech, where one politician said of another, that he was so effective it was like being "savaged by a dead sheep".

No personal reflections intended, this is for info only. -- Regards, John C.

G'day Erl

Welcome. Its a great place here. I note that you 've had 9 posts already!!! You'll be overtaking the top posters at this rate ;) .

Have a look in the Regional forum and you'll find the names of a few of us locals.

Look forward to seeing some of your photos this weekend.

Posting Crap? ..... that depends on the artists interpretation doesn't it LOL

Welcome to the fold :D

Always good to see another camera addict and beer drinker here ;)

You ain't seen crap until you see my poor, pathetic amatuer attempts at photography! I'm new myself (both to the forum and RF photography!) And speaking of GAS, I live about an hour north of Atlanta, GA, USA and gas in Atlanta just hit $6.07 USD per gallon due to panic about shortages from hurricane Katrina!
Sometime, I'd like to discuss the various Hassies with you, as my mid-term goal is medium format photography (I REALLY want to get a shot in Arizona Highways magazine someday!) My private e-mail (for anyone who wants it) is macmini@alltel.net. Obviously, i'm a (retired) Apple-certified MacHead!

Thanks for the welcome.

Still learning to navigate in these 'unchartered waters'. The Reginal Forum sounds interesting. Some pics are (nearly) ready to post. I bet I screw up in my first attempt. Do I have to create my own gallery, or do I just 'bung' pictures up?

Off to bed now. It's 1:30pm.

More tomorrow.
