no complaints has turned into much enthusiasm since I redid some scans myself

I guess this speaks to the need to do things yourself if you want them done right. Even though you lose so much at 1024, this rescan has loads more bite and dimensionality than I ever knew this negative contained. Technique extends beyond just taking the shot, and this is a lesson I am glad to learn.
