I'm very sorry guys, this evening I cannot get my "repository" to come up.

So I guess I'll have to get yet another I've already posted in the past; I do want to know what y'all think about this one...

I suppose I get to be second to post a picture.

I apologize in advance for an SLR photo. Minolta XG-1 w/ MC Rokkor 28mm.

I call this one "Frontside".

lff ( a name would help here):
I get the feeling of seeing motion in your image. The two people on the left are distracting though. Nice facial expressions.

The whole roll was damaged, i just brought this back to its normal color, supposedly...Tmax, fed 3...

Interesting power lines. Maybe if tighter framed/cropped, it will be stronger graphically.

yashica gsn, fuji nph as far as I recall...

Pherdinand: This is a busy photo, and I can't see any way to reduce the business of it. The man sitting in the front is the main character, and the rest frames him. It would have been maybe stronger if the man could have been isolated with a wider aperture.

Gabriel,

The man's face is hidden. I would crop the excess on the right and crop vertically until you reach the man.

Raid- Sunrise over the Gulf

'it seems that your photo is framed from top and bottom with black, right?? The sun disk is in the midest of a navy blue tone, and there's a reflection, i wonder with that equal tonality in the ackground what caused the reflection?? I'd like to know more about how you did it..

None the less, who wouldn't love seeing a sun disk in these colors, the reflection adds a mood, it's a great postcard for the gulf area too...

Sporty shot, I like this motion shot, the blurry leg and back ground, the softness on the skater's body, the concentration on his face, his hands position...

There's a lot in this photo, a lot, and that's a market, it'd normal to be buzy, laods of ddiferent stuff are for sale, antiquities, underwear, clothes and stuff, quite a variety, and that man, sitting under the sun, is either a main subject, or a complementary subject, if he's the main, maybe you should have had a shallower dof...

Well, Gabriel, i want you to look at critique no 11, i guess:D (that's OT)

Interesting, the effect of muted music, the hand which is the only thing in focus, amazing details, the hand that got all the talent, it's lovely even when it's myted, the pattern in the background helps the mood...

Sunrise over the Gulf [unaltered]

This is a photo that I like and that others don't seem to care for. It is perfect for such a critique thread.
It is challenging in the sense that his is a sun disk, and not much else other than part of it is reflected, as if melted (which is virtually always a pleasing effect). You can clearly see the Sun is on the horizon, but it could either be a sunset or a sunrise. It has nice "sun" colors...but how do we know it's "over the Gulf"? Where's the water? A hint of it, but by reference.

Don't quite know what to think of it.

Oh, wait...I just realized we have that one deleted account here.

We need a fifth entry

Unless you really want to go on as is...

Racha, Pherdinand and Gabriel:

Let's move on. Ray mentioned that the exact number of five participants could be changed. In another critique qgroup we have six participants.
