Hi,

I'm using CS2 currently. my main use is the Raw converter, and then image adjustment with levels, curves, color balance, etc and not much more. I'm very contempt with my CS2 and wasn't thinking of getting the CS3.

but i was reading through a magazine with a CS3 review and it talked about improved controls over the Raw converter. Improved Raw converting capabilities would be very important for me as that is a main portion of work i do with my photoshop.

but is it worth buying CS3 for the improved Raw converter? is it that good to pay that much more for CS3 to jump from CS2 or do you think i shouldnt bother? any personal experiences?

thank you much~

If you're just using it to convert RAW files, perhaps it's time to switch to Elements.

I have CS3 myself, but to be honest when the RAW converter becomes out of date, or I have an unsupported camera, I think I will switch to Elements. I can't really see what I need in CS3 that is not present in Elements.
