Does anybody know what the model/manufacturer is for the camera in this photo? I've spent about two hours on google images running a boatload of keywords but so far, no dice. Thanks in advance for help.

It is made in millions FED-2 with earlier J-8 or I-26m.
I just have mine disassembled to deal with shutter again.

Fantastic. Thanks so much. So I guess they are kind of finicky?

Not really. They are very simple, all metal, except shutter curtains and ribbons part.
And this is where it only gets finicky for DIY replacement. If it is done righ, camera will works for years.
In the past they were serviced in specialized centers all over FSU. This is why something like two millions of those cameras were made and pictures were taken. I did.

Hi,
They usually have the name on the front but there's no way of knowing if it was a mistake, deliberate or edited.
Look here http://www.sovietcams.com/index.php?1883986375
for details of the FED 2 and search within the page for the PEO 480.

Hmmm.. Doesn't really look like a peo 480 to me as this has the strap lugs and a 'frame' around the viewfinder whereas the peo 480 doesn't have either.
It does look like a peo 430.
I'd like to know the serial No. of the OP's camera.
I'm also curious to know why there are no identifying letters and numbers on the body or lens. Seems a little odd to me.
