Just noticed this tiny speedlight. Anyone have an idea if it works on an SP?

what are the flash contacts on the bottom of the flash? you would need to put a extension shoe with a connector to the pc port on the side of the camera
this has a single sync post in the center of the shoe,

you will also need a pc to pc cable to hook it up
since none of the auto feature will not work on the flash you will need to shoot in manual mode, setting the camera and aperture for correct exposure, you might be better off with a one like this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vivitar-200...pt=Digital_Camera_Flashes&hash=item19cc4716e5
set the camera speed to 1/60, set the aperture to the numbers in the white shaded area on the back of the flash, depending on your ASA of the film. put flash in A mode and shoot away,
ps. either put a piece of electric tape on the shoe of the camera or on the bottom of the flash to cover the connector post ( if your shoe on top of the camera does not have a line already scratched in from previous users)

Dave- the sb-n5 has a non-standard shoe and contacts, and ONLY works w/
the new Nikon V1 (just the V1-the J1 has no flash connection). It is powered
by the camera, and has no battery/ power supply of it's own.
Neat little flash, but not at all what you want.
