Holga, of course. Who else continues to roll out so many different models of film camera?

While I voted for Cosina, a good argument can be made for PhaseOne. yes, they are a camera company now, you can buy a complete camera system from them now (they are a part-owner of Mamiya as well)
And they've done more than any other current company to improve the results from any digital camera between their excellent CaptureOne RAW conversion software and from the image processing technology that they license to various makers. If you're shooting a DSLR, RF or Digital back, the chances are that there is PhaseOne-developed technology in it.

I voted Nikon earlier mostly for their affordable and generally good quality lenses and digital slrs (even though I personal prefer canon and L's), but overall I believe that Holga deserves the title for best camera company. Young people are drawn to the format and it can serve as an entry format to develop a passion for photography.

My gawd, what are y'all smoking at RFF these days???
It's Fuji - in fact, clearly, it's Fuji!
1. One of the last great camera companies still in existence. - Sorry, the "Johnny come lately" electronic giants (cough, Panasonic, Sony) don't get my vote, are disqualified.
2. The make all kinds of quality digital cameras, all up and down the price range.
3. They were the first and only company to buck the megapixel wars and come out with a very useful line of digicams that enabled high ISO speed filming, the "F" Finepix line... a ballsy move that other manufactures copycatted (but still kept the megapixel count too high, resulting in crappy low ISO images...)
4. They make their own sensors, including the innovative "super CCD" sensor.
5. The MAKE FILM!!! Great film too!!! Color, medium format, slide...
6. They just came out with a new MF folder... a damned FOLDER!!! ... which also happens to be a RF...
7. Though not the biggest player in the RF game back in the golden era, my personal all time fave was made by Fuji... The Fujica Compact Deluxe - outstanding.
Hands down, bar none, Fuji... And please pass whatever you're all smoking this way...

Oh... sorry, forgot to add, they make terrific black and white film too 35 and MF and they're also priced right. The 1600 speed in particular, is excellent.

I thought Cosina made the Fuji 667 folder for Fuji. Thats why Voigtlander has their own brand name folder Bessa III. Kudos to Fuji for the idea though.

Nikon. Especially due to their superb and innovative lenses, such as the new(ish) AF-S 14-24mm and 24-70mm zooms. I only wish they'd come out with new fast primes for FF, especially fast 28mm and 35mm lenses.

Maybe I would've voted Leica but their equipment is extremely overpriced, as such I voted for CV

Pentax
I've owned Canon, Nikon, but seems like they just keep with the Status Que. Pentax has innovation (multi-use Green Button) and delivers a great DSLR line up. I own a K20d. And may get a Kx for it High ISO IQ, and as my M42 DSLR with cheap fast Pentax primes like the Super Tak 55mm f/1.8...
Pentax may not offer Pro Depth in its lenses, but, the IQ of the lenses are great, and the body's are well built with may weather resistant consumer level body's to pick from. new and used.
My K20d has outstanding IQ. And you need great glass to take advantage of it too, like any high MP sensor.

Truth is beauty
Best company for what?
For high quality images with a portable camera, and thinking of decades, Hasselblad.
For photographic vision, design, and a damn fast positioning in a market, "a company", CV.
Just a PO, no discussions, please...

Hasselblad...
Hasselblad...
Hasselblad, without a doubt.
Flexible, backwards compatible, superlative quality, great optics via Zeiss and most importantly- completely integrated digital and film offerings within the one range.

Fujifilm or Voigtlander/Cosina. They both get my vote for the same reason, they're both still pushing film, actually bringing out new and great products which use film.
I don't think any digital company can really get "best camera company" because Epson and Leica aside, the products they make are too similar to anyone else's.

I Voted For Panasonic as I personally believe that they are the best compact camera makers and even in dslr the quality is awesome. My second preference is Nikon and canon and both seems easy to handle.
