Well-known
Any special information about this VF type B because I also want to use it on a u4/3 camera.
Type B Zoomfinder covers 15-35 lenses 35mm full frame format including the Leica M9
plus Leica M8 /M8.2 1.3x format for 12mm to 25mm lenses (marked values)
plus Micro 4/3 cameras 2x format for 7.5mm to 17.5mm lenses (marked values)

The 16-28mm Leica finder (Universal Wideangle Viewfinder M) is a bit more elegantly designed (starting with not making you stick your eye up to a tube), has brilliant projected framelines, and has an integrated bubble level that you can see. It also takes R diopters. You can get it for $599 in EX+ at KEH - that's about $70 more than the CV finder.

BTW, the CV zoomfinder has been discontinued for lack of sales in this brave new "mirrorless" world. So get them while you still can.

On a Leica M, there is a bit of a lag doing that. DanteWhy would you want to use one when you could use an EVF or just the back screen and see what your camera is seeing?
