Long shot, but does anyone know if the push-on cap from the Skopar 21/4 LTM version's standard round hood will fit on the standard round hood of the M-mount version?

Good question - I don't love the new caps either. I've just taken a punt and bought a rip off Leica push-on that I hope will fit OK. Wont arrive for another week though so that's no help.

Ah yes, thanks -- the lens chart! That doesn't tell me directly, but I derived the answer.
The chart says that the LTM 21/4 and 28/3.5 both use a 43mm push-on cap. I know empirically that the push-on cap from the 28/3.5 does not fit on the M-mount 21/4, ergo the cap from the LTM 21/4 will not fit.
That's a shame, really, as I simply cannot abide those accursed pinch-caps that CV has started putting on all their lenses! My only salvation now would come from buying the round hood + push-on cap for the LTM 21/4 and putting that on my M-mount 21/4. (The external hood mounting threads must be identical, since the LH-1 square hood fits both lenses.)
