CV 35/2.5 Skopar//f-ring stuck

The other day I took my CV 35/2.5 Color Skopar and I realized that the diaphragm ring got stuck!! I don't know the reason but the thing is that it hardly turns, and when it does you cannot feel that click in every stop.

Does any body think what might have been the cause for this? One day was working, I put into the case and next day it wasn't.

Do you think I could arrange this myself? Or does anybody know a good service there in the States, since I will spend a couple of weeks next month?

This is barely the only lens I use with my RD-1s.

If it hasn't had a knock, it sounds like some grit has got in the mechanism

All my CV lenses have needed repairs similar to this. Take the mount off and see if you can repair. Mine were pretty simple.

I no longer will consider buying them due to the cheap construction.

Well, I will try to do it myself then even though I am not sure where I have to open it from: the front screws under the CV label or from the rear side?

CV looked pretty tough to me so far, but I guess I have changed my mind now.
