CV 35mm lenses

Aside from the fast 35mm lenses, there is a Skopar Classic, and 2 versions of a Pancake 35mm. Of these lenses, which has the best reputation?

I've owned both the old and the new pancakes. Optically identical, on paper, and also in the field. Although the new Pancake II is better looking. My Pancake 2's aperture ring's too loose for my tastes. Does anyone else feel the same about theirs ?

A few years ago, I bought a CV Pancake I. It was almost as good as my Canon 35/1.8. I sold the CV Pancake.
