CV 40mm f1.4 on a CL?

Is the Leica CL's rangefinder accurate enough to properly focus the CV Nokton 40mm lens at close distances?
I am looking for a 40mm lens for my new CL, and it seems that the CV lens and the M-Rokkors tend to cost about the same amount. In fact about 30% more than I sold my CL with Summicron for about ten years ago. Sigh.

If it's between those two I'd go for the CV 40/1.4. you can do your own set of tests to figure out the lens wide open at close distances.

I love my Summicron-C 40 myself.
