Never tried the 90 fl but it would be good for different applications. I've been using a 75 as my main lens for a while now and it makes a nice 'gentlemanly' 50. I bought it thinking it would be the longest focal length I could use on a 'one camera, one lens' basis. I couldn't see myself using a 90 this way.
I like how with even only a moderate 2.5 one can throw the background in portraits and stuff. I'm often surprised at how accurate my focusing needs to be with this lens. This photo I actually nailed the focus. 😎 Summarit @2.5
Let me add too how much better the 75 became once I added a separate finder. Having a dedicated 75 finder for this lens made composing sooooo much easier.
