CV 75mm resolution

While using up half a roll last week I shot this “jigsaw-pic” and thought it was a good candidate for checking what the lens was able to resolve. The full frame was shot handheld on 200 Fuji Superior at 1/250-f16, developed at a local pro-am lab then scanned at 5400 dpi, scaled to 600x400 to post here. The following details from the centre, edges and corners are 750x500 sections of the original scan so they each represent about 1% of the negative area No manipulation has been made, sorry about the dust, thought I would share the results, I’m pleased with them.

on the original slide, and the 4000dpi scan, its possible to read the registration numbers of the cars on the quay. Having said that, any optical company that can't make a good short telephoto shouldn't be in business...
