Pardon my ignorance, but can you actually focus thru the Combination 28 / 35 Brightline Mini-Finder or is it just for compsition of the framelines. Of course, I assumming that you are using a rangefinder coupled lens.

It's okay but not great for eyeglasses wearers.

Your picture shows the problem. For whatever reason, they made this finder in an almost square format. It shows normally shaped horizontal framelines against an almost square field of view. You're looking through a square hole at rectangular framelines, and the sides of the rectangle can get cut off if you wear eyeglasses.

There's lots and lots of space above and below the framelines, but very little to the left and right. As an eyeglass wearer, I can see most or all of the 35mm frameline but I can only see about two-thirds/three-quarters of the 28mm frameline. You can see the whole frame by rolling your eyes around or pressing your glasses against the finder. I really wish they made the finder a little lower and a little wider.

Other than that, it's a very nice finder. Magnification seems to be about 0.5 -- 50 percent of lifesize.

I've got one.... I'm not an eyeglass wearer.. it's small and handy and is bright and clear.

It's perfect for all the Barnack Leicas imho.

I've never found accessory viewfinders all too practical - especially for today's intended purpose of rangefinders which is mostly street photography. Unless the lens being used is completely and absolutely appallingly outside the area of the camera's viewfinder, I don't see the practicallity of an accessory vf. Having to jump back and forth between main vf and accessory vf seems like to me like a possible cause for many missed shots. However, to each his own

That has been my feeling as well, but I wanted to explore other peoples experiences. Thanks to all.
