CV Lens Serial Number Meaning?

Is there a system to the CV serial numbers? Someway to understand the date of manufacturing?

Is this a generic question, like in just wondering? Or do you have a specific reason to ask?

If there is such a system, I've not been able to figure it out.

Just trying to figure out the manufacturing time line for my CV lenses. Serial numbers on cameras-Leica- tell the year/s of manufacture.
