had my first outing with the cv 50/1.5 this afternoon.
it is a nice handling lens, not too big as some say. it seems to fit very well on the zi. the focus was smooth as was the aperture ring.
the cv 28/1.9 was it's partner. i did a walk throuigh of the outdoor activities of our local fringe theatre event.
one way i used the 50 and the way back i used the 28.
after using the 50 and then switching to the 28, i decided that i preferred the 28 without the focus lever. had it been a tab or something similar i think i might still have it on the lens. but it seemed to just stick out more today. i found myself reaching for the focus ring more.

both lenses are very nice to use.

photos will follow eventually. i have to start processing film, all my tanks are loaded and ready to go.

almost forgot...wanted to say how much i like the 50mm frame lines on the zi.
could anything be more easy to see?!

I've got me a 25 and 35 zm, an 85/2 nikkor, now just need some kind of 50 for my ZI. Want to see your photos 🙂 But methinks I'll be down to either an old sonnar with contax->m adapter, or the new sonnar 😱

I've got both, too...unfortunately my 50/1.5 is broken again 🙁. This time the aperture blades have slipped out of place.

So the 28/1.9 is on my lens more at the moment 🙂

the aperture blades slipped out? that sucks!

i think it was my zm 50 that arrived in a similar condition. it was replaced and has been fine so far.
