On thing that annoys me about the CV 15m I bought to use with my R-D1 is that the ltm adaptor does not make the lens sit at the 12 'o clock position. It is more like 11:15!

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it just a matter of buying a better adaptor (mine was a cheapie off of e-Bay) or is there actually no way of ensuring that the ltm adaptor seats the lens exactly in the 12 o'clock position?

TIA

Do a search. IIRC, there were a lot of these discussions when the VC lenses first hit the market. I believe you can remove three screws on the back of the lens and rotate the flange to line up correctly. However, don't do it on my account. See if you can dig up an old thread on the subject.

Thanks all, very helpful responses. I did try moving around the lens mount. One trick that you need to know is that there is a small polarising mark on the mount which must be lined up with the dots on the lens barrel. Then you can adjust it back and forwards.
