CV25 not dead center in top ??

I just bought a Bessa R2, and CV25 and adapter.

I mount the adapter on the R2, than screw the CV25 in till it tops, without excessive force. The lens naturally stops just shy of being dead centered. maybe 1/8" or just bit more.

I have a roll in it now. (my first), So I don't know if the pics are OK or not.

Since the CV25 is not RF coupled. I don't expect a problem with focusing. But I thought I would ask anyway. To be on the safe side of understanding.

Any similar instances. BTW: The adapter centers perfectly top dead center when it locks in.

It's common for the lenses to not screw on completely centered... It has no effect on the results.

Don't worry about it.
My CV 35 is mounted on a cheapo adapter and far off-center but it focuses fine.

It's only cosmetic but easy to fix on most CV lenses. See

My experience that it may be improved but not perfectly settled by the method mentioned above. I did the adjustment on my CV50, before the operation, it's in 11 o'clock, now it's between 12 and 1 o'clock.
