Great shots, how did you correct the magenta borders?

I did not do anything here. This is what I got. In fact, I was disappointed, and I posted on it at RFF.

I see a cyan to magenta gradient in both of those shots... The problem is that they're very contrasty so the subtleties of the gradient can successfully be ignored.

But if you want to eliminate it, use CornerFix ... 🙂

Coincidentally, I was just trying to install Cornerfix in my Macbook Pro this afternoon and had a problem installing it... Got some error message from LR
I am looking for a solution, any ideas?

CornerFix is not a Lightroom plug-in. It's a standalone app on OS X. You install it into the Applications folder and run it separately from Lightroom.

Thanks! I am getting pretty confused in my dotage. 🙄 After I posted the question I was easily able to add the "Flat Field Correction" plug in.
Now with your kind help I'll install Cornerfix!

The cyan to magenta colour cast also plagued my uncoded CV 35mm/2.5. Until I figured out the right lens to code it as in the menu. For the 35mm, a 21mm and 28mm showed the best promise.

The 21mm f4 code produced the best result with the CV 25 f4. However, it's far from ideal.... I used the lens profiles I saved from shooting through an Expo disk, but did not notice any change. I wonder if I'm missing something... Also, I tried using a preset I created and saved in LR with equally poor results... If I manipulate the images in LR5, I can remove most of the offending magenta fringes. I don't understand why the suggested cures are not working for me. I think I'm missing some steps from the process. Unfortunately I cannot find any clear instructions or uTube tutorials to help me...
