CV50 f2.5 results

I think the 50 Color-Skopar had a bad press. This seems to have stemmed from Erwin Puts receiving a bad sample and writing it up on his site. This was my first rf 50 and I always liked the results but sold it on fairly quickly as I was going through my delusional 35mm period 😱

I love mine- it's smaller than the collapsable summicron collapsed.

I'm very happy that the lens is pleasing you. I really liked the small size, focusing tab, excellent build quality, and resistance to flare, as well as the image results.

Now that the Contax repair bill has been paid, and I've got an Elmar 50 f2.8 coming from Keith, the CV50 f2.5 is a lens I will keep my eye out for. It makes a great compact combo with a Bessa R/R2 etc, and Leica CL (which can't accept a collapsed Elmar 50.
