I have used and still own quite a few CV lenses. My personal observations seem to match whats happening with the prices on ilde CV gear/lenses. While Cosina keeps bringing more and more exciting itmes, the "original" - mostly LTM ones seem to be more and more popular. All the ASPH. lenses, Like 35/1.7 Ultron, 50/1.5 Nokton, 28/1.9 Ultron seem to grow in prices lately - and no surprise - they are fantastic lenses and some are no longer made (yet some are still availible new), old skopars - like the first brass made 35mm and 28mm pancakes - also - great lenses keep growing in prices on used market.
Even the great old Bessa R/R2 is still very popular and in-demand camera, which I kind of prefer for it's simplicity yet functionality compared to newer Bessas. Althouh new Bessas do have some nice things to offer - I like my R3M Limited Ed. too.
I wonder why Cosina stopped making those, as they seem to be very popular and in many cased bette than their "replacements" that were M-mount and non-asph yet more expensive.
If I was starting out now in the RF world - I would definatelly go for those "old classics", than the newer generation of CV lenses.
Having said all this - I wonder - what shall we expect from the Cosina in the future? I hope they have something in the works that will make me love their new products as much as I do the "old originals" of theirs...
