I've noticed a dark band running across a couple of negatives (Fuji NPZ). Is this something in front of the lens, a camera malfunction, or bad film processing?
Can you see the on the negatiive if the stipe extends past the area of the expected exposed area of the negative? Since it's on the bottom of the negative, I'm going to guess that your shutter is bouncing, or slow to cap, if the over exposed section of the negative DOESN'T extend past the expected edges.
Possibly sad news, but it might go away with normal shooting.
I can't see if the dark band runs between frames but I did notice the dark band (light on the negative) run across three consecutive frames on the negative strip.
I've had three rolls of film through the Hexar and these are the only ones with dark bands. Could it be bad film?
