All of that kit for $1500.00? I'd say that's a pretty good deal. The Beseler 45 MCRX is a highly regarded and sturdy enlarger. Beselers can have alignment issues, so set it up carefully and check the alignment periodically. Otherwise it should serve well for many years.

As for the rest of it, there's some great stuff in there. All tolled, I'd say that's a really good price for the whole load. Four bladed easels? Sinks and a film drying cabinet? Processing gear, timers, and some good lenses? If you have room, go for it! If not, will you pass along the sellers contact info?

You could probably scramble around on ebay and craigslist and put something together for less, but I too would throw down to get all that quality gear in one shot. Maybe offer a little less, since I doubt the seller will have many bidders.

Thanks for the feedback after much deliberation and lack of experience I have decided to develop my own B&W negs and scan.

The equipment is for sale in Toronto look in Craigslist under darkroom the seller is a professional photographer.

If you keep an eye out on craigslist you'll probably find a good setup cheap. Flea markets and resale shops are also good hunting grounds..

Give the darkroom a try, I've made the jump from scanning to making prints in the darkroom. aka bathroom for me.
Next step is setting up a permanent space at the family farm.
