Hey guys, yesterday I spent half of the day in my darkroom, printing to be able to take part in a group exhibition in my hometown from next week on.

I'll show two reportage series, one about small owner-run shops and one about the mayday of 2009 in my hometown.

Here are two crappy p&s camera shots of the so far results. the mayday series will be a bit expanded over the weekend, didn't manage to do all prints yesterday.

The parts appearing too light are caused from the lamps under the ceiling while shooting those crappy pics above. 😀

If you're happy with your whites, bump up the contrast to darken the blacks. Adjust exposure as recommended based on your filters.

I like it Florian.

Try printing on multigrade paper without a filter and see what you get. I'm getting rich blacks on matte multigrade Ilford paper without contrast filters. The glossy does, however, seem to have higher contrast.
