Taken during our regular weekend walk.

Leica M9/35mm Summaron.

This one, Naomi, is 19 now and studying biology at university. I will try to find a more recent picture later and one of her older sister, Hannah 22, who has just graduated from the Royal College of Music.

They have grown up so fast and have always defied our expectations - both are very much their own people and we couldn’t have planned it better. Both remain intensely frustrating and delightful at one and the same time. We, of course, continue to share in the sadness and joys of their emerging lives and lives.

And today - talking with Mum this morning:)

Of far less importance than the photos, the first was probably taken with a Zeiss Ikon with either a C-Sonnar or 2/35 Biogon and today’s picture with an M11m and 50mm apo-lanthar. Naomi has become more camera shy over the years… today’s picture was downloaded as a preview jpeg to my phone using Fotos, slightly globally adjusted in apple gallery before upload here. Some things have evolved even for old people like me who still shoot film as well as digital:)
