David Alan Harvey does it again...

Unfortunately people are now using the term "digital rangefinder". The context is the finder display operates as a virtual RF.

This is completely misleading as just about everyone would reasonably assume a digital rangefinder has a mechanical, optical RF and digital media (i.e. a sensor assembly instead of film).

On the other hand, I will speculate a significant number of Fujifim's customers are unaware mechanical, optical RF exist. Only one niche brand still offers these on new cameras.

I have no problem with this, just because you're Magnum doesn't mean you're rich or don't have bills to pay. More importantly, he's honest, if you follow his IG he's been using the Fuji system for a while and he seems to like it

Besides, come on guys, the man makes his own choices, so what if he endorsed a product ?

What is a little more off-putting about the video is that it looks like this camera makes the entire universe slow down around you. Shades of Burgess Meredith in the Twilight Zone. 🙂

But seriously - no post on the Instagram shots to make faces a little more apparent?

D

He's been using the Fujis for quite a while now, I absolutely don't have a problem with him having a relationship with Fuji.

How many of us would love to have that kind of relationship with a brand who's products we use, I know I certainly would!

Its easy to be cynical about such videos. A 71 year old man photographing skateboarders and bikini clad young girls in a sex tourist destination, but that is getting away from the video's message, which is that fuji xpro2 is used by photographers who are progressive and young-at-heart.

Oh..... were there bikini clad young girls in the video? 😀

no issues with this -- -certainly more genuine than the manufactured relationship between tvo and leica...
David is doing some cool stuff
