The greatest compiment I can give the 50mm f2.5 Skopar is that I sold mine to Jamie P. almost a year ago and he, to my knowledge, still has it.
Bob, I say 5-to-1 it is gone. You can't mount it on the X100.

Jamie's using his e-p3 the most right now- it'd fit on that!
Don't think I'll be able to make this one.
I'm working on that Saturday, feel free to come in
and taunt me with your freedom if you're in
Berkeley then...
I'll retaliate by selling you something

We'll miss you Brian!
The E-P3 Beats out the X100? That Jamie! I'll bet that body with the Pany 20/1.7 would be a nice combo.

Looks like I might have a conflict on Sunday, so I'm going to have to lobby hard for Saturday.
I nominate meeting up Saturday at 12:30 pm at the SFMOMA cafe. Do I have a second?

Seconded! Heavy shooters (that could be mis-interpreted) can meet up earlier for some quality wandering.

Well, Jamie keeps the x100 around for when he needs it for the low light performance and the 35mm fov, but I usually see him with the oly and a panasonic 14mm, or some pentax glass on it.
BTW, his skopar is definitely gone.
We should've put money on that...

For the streets, X100 35/2 and E-P3 45/1.8... at least for this week. Who knows what I'll have by mid-December!

Bob, I strictly serve as a testing function for the RFF machine. I buy, I test, I sell.

I might grab dim sum in the morning if folks are interested. Probably something in C.T. I can't afford Yank-my-chain-Sing after posting bail for Honus last week.
And I'll start a Cameras and Chicken feet thread that night.
Edit: And this time, we won't have to deal with Papercut trying to order in Mandarin and confusing the lady. I wonder if the NY club is tired of his shenanigans yet....

Desperate but not serious
I'm going to kick myself this, but if any of us locals are looking for good and serious lighting equipment, keep an eye out on

So is it Saturday or Sunday?

Saturday seems to work for everyone so let's say the official start is at 12:30, SF MOMA cafe.

Thanks for setting it up, Kent. See you then, with whatever gear I happen to own at that moment.

Oh, this is mighty tempting (the Saturday gathering, not Mike's "glory hole" project). Although I have lots going on that weekend. I'll know closer to that time whether I can get out of the other commitments to join you guys.

Terrific Jamie! I always look forward to seeing what you're using. Hmmm... maybe I need to bring a surprise camera too!

Randy, I'll promise to maintain a minimum close distance of 20 ft from you at all times. Does that help clear up your 'commitments'?
And we'll make sure Kents m.c.d. will be 50 ft, from all of us, as specified by the recent court order.

I'll need the 50 foot buffer due to the rancid stench coming off that GH Project Noctilux!

By the way... on a serious note.
Are we going to do the little "sub $20" Secret Santa gift exchange? Either way is cool with me, let me know your thoughts.
Note- If anyone wants to really make it a special Christmas they can present me with the Black MP3 I had to sell to pay the tax man
