Decided on the 21/4

Hi, I attempted a post earlier today but for some reason it disappeared. I just wanted to share a little of my excitement over my new purchase I found on *bay. A like new black 21/4 with bright line finder attached to a like new black Bessa L. I was undecided on which lens I wanted. 21/4 or 25/4. The L thrown into the mix made my mind up. For $345.00, I couldn't hit the BIN button quick enough. I also wanted to say that a few of the threads (both on the Bessa L and CV 21/4) I've checked out here helped influence my decision. Thanks guys! I needed to spend a little of my tax return money anyway. I'm pretty jazzed about the L. I've been wanting to try one. We'll see if the picture loads. I'll leave the 35/2.5 classic glued to my R.

Hey Jim, I've also just confirmed a purchase of a new chome Bessa-L body and chrome 21/4 w/ finder and black mini-soft-release from a HK seller (joseph@yao.com). The threads on this forum definitely helped to influence, if not dictate, my decision between the 21/4 and the 15/4.5 *grin*.

Now I just have to get through the hassle of sending a bank draft over... and endure the wait for the packages in the mail.

Congratulations to both of you! I agree 100% with Floyd; the L + 21mm should be a fine package, and excellent too in combination with the R + 35mm. Looking forward to seeing your pics!

Great on both of you guys! As a 21mm owner (and most definitely learner) I think the 21 is one of the most exciting lenses you can get. Looking forward also to seeing your pics - we need more of the super-wide perspective in the gallery! 🙂 (Of course I'm partly to blame myself for that 🙁 ).
