That's it, the 50 1.4 asph is a smaller lens than the Noctilux, more practical to carry around and it focuses down to 0.7 for close up portraits. However, it is one stop slower..........

And a very different look. That said I almost NEVER use mine because it's a BRICK.

I'm 39th in the cue for a new M8 and lens choices keep me awake.
So, I naturally went to EBAY and wound up with a "mint" 75 1.4 Summilux and
a "like new" 1.0 Noctilux and I'll use the 30% on a new Tri Elmar.
I figure that line up will hold me for a couple of years.
In the meantime, I cope with a 5D and a 17-40 L
