Stopped in at the local camera shop and they had some 120 Delta 400 that had just expired (May 2005) at half price. :bang: goes the wallet.

I've never used this film before - I see on line that box speed - EI400 - is recommended for this film. Any hints tips or tricks?

Thanks,

William

Delta 400 works great in D76, DDX, Ethol TG-7.
I got 10 rolls at 1.50 in the ritz camera bargain bin the other day. Shot the first 2 as 400 and developed in DDX for 9.5 minutes. Negatives are a bit dense but printable.

never tried it in Diafine.

but google found this: http://www.photoslave.com/misc/diafine.html
Ilford Delta 400@400: Acufine lists Delta 400 on their box as working with Diafine, and it does work. But it's horribly grainy and very contrasty, the two things that Delta 400 in XTOL aren't. If you love Delta 400, don't torture it by developing it in Diafine.
